Constructivism
Constructivism is the view that meaning does not stand ready outside but is constructed by the person. Jean Piaget grounds this in learning, and George Kelly in the psychology of personal constructs: everyone reads the world through their own constructs. In coaching, this means that the same event can build two different realities in two people. The coach tries not to change the client's construct but to make it visible. A construct that is seen is a construct that can be changed.
