Getting Started & First Meeting

Is the first meeting really free?

Yes. The first meeting is an introduction and it is free. Its purpose is not to sell; it is to hear what you are carrying and to see together whether we are a good fit.

Where do I start? What is the first step?

There is only one step: arranging an introductory meeting. Everything else becomes clear there, together, without rushing.

Coaching, mentoring or somatic therapy — which one is right for me?

You do not have to choose in advance. Three paths go through one door: in the first meeting we look together at which one suits you. Changing direction later is also possible.

I don’t quite know what I want yet — can I still come?

Of course. Clarity usually comes not at the end of the road but at the beginning, through talking. If you like, you can first see where you stand with the Life Wheel and then we can talk.

What do we talk about in the first meeting?

We listen to what brought you here; it is an introduction, not a diagnosis or a prescription. At the end, we decide together how to move forward.

How do I know if I am ready?

Readiness is not a feeling; it is a matter of intention. If you are curious, you have already taken a step; we can weigh the rest by talking.

I only want information — do I have to commit?

No. The introductory meeting comes with no strings attached; whether to continue is entirely up to you. Cevvela is not a subscription trap.

Instead of writing, can I call you — or can you call me?

Sure. Leave your number and we will call you at a convenient time; or book an appointment directly.

Coaching

What is coaching, and how is it different from therapy?

Coaching looks forward from today: it works on goals, choices and action. Therapy is more concerned with the weight of the past and with healing. The two do not exclude each other; we set the direction according to your need.

What types of coaching are there?

Life, career, executive, entrepreneur, relationship, team/group and student coaching. We look together at which one suits you.

Who is life coaching for?

For anyone who feels stuck in an area of life (balance, meaning, habits, direction) or wants to turn a new page. It does not tell you what to do; it accompanies you in finding your own answer.

What does career coaching offer?

You work on clarity and an action plan around direction, transitions, promotion or burnout in your career. Starting with the Career Compass is a good first step.

Who is executive coaching for?

For professionals who lead teams, carry the weight of decisions and want to deepen their leadership style. It offers a confidential, non-judgmental space to think.

What is entrepreneur coaching good for?

It works with uncertainty, deciding alone and founder fatigue. It focuses less on the business idea and more on the balance of the person carrying it.

What is relationship coaching?

It helps you look at communication, boundaries and the ways you bond in close relationships. It does not look for someone to blame; it makes the pattern visible.

Do you offer team and group coaching?

Yes. We accompany a team as it works together on shared goals, trust and communication. For corporate requests, you can get in touch.

Is there student and education coaching?

Yes. For students dealing with exam anxiety, study routines, motivation and worries about the future. It is built not on pressure but on finding your own method.

Will the coach tell me what to do?

No. Coaching is non-directive: it does not give ready-made answers, it asks the right questions. The decision is yours; the coach helps you make it clearer.

What is the ICF and why does it matter?

The ICF (International Coaching Federation) is the international body that sets ethical and competency standards in coaching. Confidentiality and boundaries are safeguarded by these principles.

Does coaching work? Will I see results?

Coaching is not a magic shortcut; it works through your own effort. When there is a clear goal and steady work, the difference becomes visible. We talk about this realistically in the first meeting.

Mentoring

What is mentoring?

Mentoring is when someone who has travelled far in a field guides you by sharing their experience. Unlike coaching, a mentor also passes on what they know when needed.

How is mentoring different from coaching?

A coach asks questions and draws the answer out of you; a mentor also shares experience and suggestions. We look at which suits your need in the first meeting.

Does a mentor share their own experience?

Yes, that is the essence of mentoring. But the aim is not to make you a copy of their path; it is to help you see your own.

I feel stuck in my career — can mentoring help?

Feeling stuck is often where the old map ends. Mentoring helps you draw the new map together. Starting with the Career Compass can help.

What is the Mentoring Mirror test for?

It is a short self-assessment that shows in which areas you could use a mentor. The result is a good starting point for a conversation.

In which areas do you offer mentoring?

Career transitions, entrepreneurship, leadership and personal growth stand out. We clarify in the meeting whether your need falls within our scope.

As an entrepreneur, should I get a mentor or a coach?

Both can help: coaching for direction and balance, mentoring for experience and concrete advice. Often the two are blended.

How long does mentoring last?

It can be a single meeting or a longer accompaniment. We set the duration together according to your need; we have no interest in keeping you tied.

Somatic Therapy

What is somatic therapy?

Somatic therapy is an approach that works not only with thoughts but also with the body. Tension, anxiety and fatigue leave traces in the body; we work gently with those traces.

Why work through the body?

Because the body rarely speaks with its mouth; more often it speaks through the back, the shoulders, the breath. Listening to the body opens a door to places the mind cannot reach on its own.

Do you work with trauma?

The somatic approach works with strain carried in the body at a gentle, safe pace. For serious clinical conditions, we refer to an appropriate specialist when needed.

Who is somatic therapy suitable for?

It can help anyone living with constant tension, burnout, anxiety, or the feeling that “my mind understands, but my body won’t relax.”

What happens in a somatic session?

We work with breath, posture, body awareness and gentle exercises. Nothing is done that pushes you; you set the pace.

What is the Body Mirror test?

It is a short self-assessment that helps you notice what your body is telling you. It is a good mirror before beginning somatic work.

I am constantly tired and tense — can somatic work help?

Tiredness is often not laziness but too much load. Somatic work helps you see where that load has built up in the body and helps it release.

Is somatic therapy psychotherapy?

The somatic approach is body-based accompaniment; it is not the same as clinical psychotherapy. When needed, we refer to the relevant specialist.

Can somatic work be done online?

Yes. Most body-awareness work can also be carried out online. We clarify the details in the first meeting.

Sessions (length, frequency, language, online)

Are sessions online or in person?

Both are possible; we can accompany you wherever you are. We talk about your preference in the first meeting and proceed in the way that suits you.

In which languages do you work?

We work in Turkish, English and French. We have experience with clients living abroad.

I live abroad (expat) — can we work together?

Yes. We can work through online sessions while taking the time difference into account; we have experience working with clients in different countries.

How long is a session?

Session length depends on the type of work; it is usually 45–60 minutes. We share the exact details in the first meeting.

How often do we meet?

Often weekly or every two weeks, but we set the rhythm together according to your need. There is no single right frequency.

How many sessions will I need?

It would not be right to give a fixed number in advance; it depends on your goal and your pace. Cevvela does not aim to keep you longer than necessary.

Do I have to commit long-term?

No. You move at your own rhythm; we decide the duration together, according to your need. The aim is not to keep you tied, but to accompany you as long as needed.

Can I reschedule or cancel sessions?

Yes, rescheduling is possible with reasonable notice. We share the terms clearly from the start; there are no surprises.

At what times can we meet?

We work within a flexible range and do our best to find a suitable time for clients in other time zones. We arrange the time that suits you in the meeting.

Which platform is used for online sessions?

A widely used, secure video platform is used; we share the link with you after booking.

Fees & Payment

How much does it cost?

Fees vary according to the chosen path and way of working. The first introductory meeting is free; we discuss the exact figure transparently there.

How is payment made?

We share the payment details clearly after the meeting and agree on a method that is convenient and secure for you.

Do I have to buy a package, or is a single session possible?

A single session is possible, as is a longer accompaniment. We do not push you into a package; we proceed according to your need.

Why is the first meeting free?

Because whether there is a good fit should be found out by talking, not with money. The first meeting is not a decision; it is an introduction.

What are the refund and cancellation terms?

We share the terms from the start, in writing and clearly; there is no fine print. You can get in touch for details.

Is there pricing for companies and organisations?

We offer a separate framework for team coaching and corporate work. Simply share your request through the contact form.

Can I get an invoice?

Yes. Just mention your invoicing request during the meeting.

Privacy & Ethics

Will what I share stay confidential?

Yes. What you tell us stays between us; confidentiality is the foundation of professional ethics and ICF principles. We clarify the details in the first meeting.

How is my data protected (KVKK)?

Your personal data is processed and protected under KVKK, Türkiye’s personal data protection law. You can find which data is collected and why in the privacy notice.

Are notes taken during sessions?

Limited, confidential notes may be kept for continuity; they are not shared with third parties. If you wish, we can clarify this in the meeting.

Is my information shared with third parties?

No. Apart from legal obligations, what you tell us is not shared with anyone without your permission.

What happens to what I share in the AI chat?

The AI chat is a tool that helps you find your direction; what you share is handled within our privacy principles. You can find details in the privacy notice.

What are your ethical principles?

Confidentiality, non-judgment, respect for boundaries and transparency are our core principles; we follow the ICF ethical framework.

What is the Mentoring Mirror?

A short self-assessment that shows on which topics you could benefit from a mentor’s experience.

Are the tests scientific? What do the results mean?

These tools are not a diagnosis but a mirror: they do not label you, they invite you to reflect. We explain their method and limits on a separate page.

Are my test results stored or shared?

Your results are first and foremost for you. You can find how the data is handled on the tests and privacy pages.
