Tiny habittiny habits
A tiny habit is starting a new behavior in a ridiculously small form. This method, developed by BJ Fogg, rather than relying on motivation, shrinks the behavior so much that not doing it becomes hard. Something like "two push-ups after using the toilet" instead of "a hundred push-ups a day." The small behavior is anchored to an existing habit and reinforced right afterward with a small celebration. The aim is first for the behavior to settle in, and then to grow of its own accord.
