Showing the way

Showing the way is pointing out the path before the mentee. The mentor can show which of the roads they have walked or observed leads where, and which option carries which cost. This is not drawing a route in the mentee's place but helping them choose their own route more consciously. Showing the way is offering the mentee a map without overshadowing their decision. In the end, which road to walk is the mentee's to decide.
