Development partnership

A development partnership is the mentor accompanying the mentee's path as a partner. This is not a top-down teaching relationship but a walking side by side devoted to the mentee's development. The mentor cares about the mentee's goals as if they were their own, yet does not take their place. Partnership is a living relationship in which both sides contribute to the process. The mentee walks the road, and the mentor becomes a companion on it.
