The guide

The guide is the role of showing the mentee the way without walking it in their place. In this role the mentor points to the options and paths before the mentee but does not interfere with which one is chosen. The guide is a map, not a driver. With the knowledge drawn from their own experience, the mentor helps the mentee see their direction more clearly. In the end, the one who will walk the road is always the mentee themselves.
