Role model

A role model is the mentor who sets an example for the mentee through their behavior. In this role the mentor makes no special effort to teach something; their very way of being becomes a lesson. The mentee learns by watching how the mentor meets difficulties and stays faithful to their values. Both the power and the responsibility of this role come from being constantly observed. A consistent example is the quietest yet most effective teacher.
