The advisoradvisor

The advisor is the role of offering the mentee views and suggestions based on one's own experience. In this role the mentor shares, before a decision facing the mentee, the possible paths and their consequences. Advising is not giving an order; the mentee makes the final decision themselves. In offering their view, the mentor takes care not to impose it as the one right answer. A good advisor, while giving their own answer, also leaves room for the mentee's own answer.
