Supervision

Supervision is a developmental process in which the coach reviews their own practice together with a more experienced colleague. Here the coach talks over the difficulties they meet in working with their own clients, their blind spots, and situations such as countertransference. Supervision is not an inspection but a space that helps the coach develop both professionally and personally. Even a good coach cannot see their own work objectively on their own. Supervision is an important practice that protects the coach's quality and, thereby, the client's benefit.
