Steering

Steering is the mentor casting light for the mentee among the options. When the mentee is stuck before a decision, the mentor makes visible the possible paths and where each might lead. This is not choosing in the mentee's place but helping them choose more consciously. With the knowledge drawn from their own experience, the mentor illuminates the options. The final choice always belongs to the mentee.
