The SIBAM modelLevine
The SIBAM model is a framework that defines the five components of an experience. Developed by Peter Levine, this model proposes that an experience is made of the layers of sensation, image, behavior, affect, and meaning. The aim of the model is to notice these different faces of an experience and thus to handle it in a whole way. SIBAM offers somatic work a map for reading an experience. These five layers together form the whole texture of an experience.
