Reverse mentoringreverse

Reverse mentoring turns the traditional direction upside down: a younger or less senior person teaches something to a more experienced one. This form was popularized in the 1990s at General Electric by Jack Welch; young employees were teaching senior executives new technologies. Today too, digital tools or new-generation culture are often passed on this way. Reverse mentoring shows that experience does not flow in only one direction and that everyone can teach something. Two generations learn different things from each other.
