Peer mentoringpeer

Peer mentoring is mutual support between two people at a similar level. Here there is no marked difference in seniority; both sides are at once teacher and learner. This form eases the pressure of hierarchy and makes room for more open sharing; people often speak more freely with their equals. Peer mentoring is especially strong between people going through similar difficulties at the same time. Two who walk together become both mirror and support for each other.
