Inspiration is an influence that moves the mentee from within, without forcing them from outside. A mentor's own journey can give the mentee the feeling that 'this is possible'; seeing someone else take a step gives a person courage for their own. Inspiration is not an instruction; it is the making visible of a possibility. The mentee may see in their mentor a reflection of their own potential. This spark from within often burns longer than outside pressure.
