GROW

GROW is the most widespread framework that gives direction to a coaching conversation. It consists of four steps: Goal, Reality, Options, and Will. John Whitmore popularized this model in his book 'Coaching for Performance'. Its logic is simple: it first clarifies where one is going, then where one is right now, then opens the roads and ties them to a commitment. It is a flexible skeleton, not a rigid recipe.
