Attachmentattachment
Attachment is the basic pattern of trust formed between people. The attachment theory developed by the psychologist John Bowlby proposes that the relationship formed with a caregiver early in life deeply shapes a person's later relational patterns. This early pattern shapes how a person approaches closeness and trust. Attachment is not only an emotion but a way of relating that leaves a trace in the nervous system. This early ground often echoes throughout a lifetime.
