Accreditation levels
Accreditation levels are graded certifications that document a coach's level of competence and experience. The ICF defines three main levels: ACC, PCC, and MCC. Each level requires an increasing number of training hours, coaching experience, and assessment; the highest, MCC, represents a deep mastery. These levels offer clients an outside assurance about the quality of a coach. Accreditation helps coaching be recognized as a reliable, standards-based profession.
