Non-judgmentnon-judgment
Non-judgment is meeting the client without evaluating or labeling them. It is the ground of the question "what happened to you in that moment?" instead of "why did you do this?" Carl Rogers named it unconditional positive regard: a person is accepted without having to change themselves for approval. Judgment closes the door, curiosity opens it. Cevvela's tone too is born of this distinction.
