Naming

Naming is openly naming what is happening in the room but that no one is putting into words. Such as 'every time we come to this topic, your voice drops; have you noticed?' An unspoken tension or avoidance, once named, becomes something that can be talked about. The coach puts this on the table not as blame but as an observation. What has no name stays invisible; what is named becomes workable.
