Feedback
Feedback is the coach conveying something they have observed to the client without adding interpretation. The sentence 'you said "I have to" three times' is a datum; 'you are very rigid' is a judgment, and the coach avoids the second. Good feedback is concrete, tied to behavior, and does not impose on the client what to do. The aim is not to criticize but to make a blind spot visible. An observation conveyed without judgment evokes curiosity rather than defensiveness.
