Psychosomatics
Psychosomatics is a field that examines the bodily reflections of psychological states. This concept addresses how emotions and stress appear physically in the body; anxiety turning into a knot in the stomach, or constant tension into muscle pain, are examples of this relationship. The psychosomatic view accepts that mind and body do not work separately but constantly affect each other. This field shows that bodily symptoms often have a psychological dimension. The body often expresses what the mind cannot say.
