Mentor supervision

Mentor supervision is a mentor reviewing their own practice together with someone more experienced. The mentor too is sometimes strained, uncertain, or caught in their own blind spots; supervision offers them a support space in which to see these points. This is a mature practice that accepts the mentor also needs support. Supervision protects both the quality of the mentoring and the mentor's own well-being. The one who supports also needs support.
