Although Dweck’s book may seem simple, it shatters the education system’s myth of the “gifted child.” It explains the mechanics of viewing failure not as a lack of intelligence, but simply as “not having succeeded yet.” It is the scientific proof behind Cevvela’s principle of “awakening the raw talent within.” If you believe intelligence is fixed, you’ll judge yourself at the first mistake and give up. You’ll realize—and feel ashamed—that all those challenges you’ve avoided until now by saying, “This just isn’t in my nature,” were actually just excuses you made to justify your own laziness.
